
About Us
The Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program provides long-term housing voucher and intensive case management to individuals and families who are experiencing homeless or continue to be at risk of becoming homeless. The program has two sub-programs that provide housing services namely:
- Tenant Based:
- A voucher is issued to the tenant to select a housing unit anywhere within the District of Columbia
- Unit Based:
- A voucher is attached to a housing unit for an eligible tenant to use for their occupancy
Eligibility
- 1+ years of documented chronic homelessness (1 consecutive year or experienced 4 episodes of homelessness within the last 3 years that accumulate to at least 1+ year) and chronic disabling condition
- Limited income earning potential
- Need for intensive case management
